Title : Big Bang Nucleosynthesis with Tsallis Statistics

Abstract :

Big Bang nucleosynthesis (BBN) is one of the most convincing pieces of evidence for the hot Big Bang cosmology,
describing the formation of light nuclides such as D, 3He, 4He, and 7Li. However, the observed relic abundance of
7Li is below the predicted value of standard BBN, which is referred to as the primordial lithium problem.
As one of the approaches to resolve the lithium problem, based on Tsallis statistics, the change in statistical
distribution function during the BBN epoch has been studied [1-4]. In this presentation, I review the relevant studies
and discuss the possibility of change in statistical distribution function in astrophysical environments.
